Bones, Light, and More

Bones: Our bones are not rigid.  They hold us up. They are the "structure" upon which the fabric (i.e., muscles) hangs.

You can play with the image of allowing your bones to fill with light; thinking of and feeling each bone become/ing a column of light.

Each column of light (think Darth Vadar's Sword of Light) that fills a bone is akin to the column of light that flows in a straight line from the top of your head straight down to your tailbone, or to the column of light that flows from the top of your head down your spine, following the curves of your spine.

(That can be another fun exploration: Can you feel a column of light from the top center of your head travelling straight down to your tailbone? Can you keep that and add another column of light from the top of your head that travels downward to your tailbone, following the curves of your spine? Can you feel both of these at the same time?)

Explore what it feels like if you imagine the light columns flowing through your bones from the direction of the Heavens toward the Earth, and then from the direction of the Earth toward the Heavens.

You can also explore what it might feel like to imagine columns of light filling various other parts/shapes of your body- what happens if you imagine a column of light filling your arm? Your neck? What happens if you imagine a flow of light - perhaps as lava might flow and fill up a space - travelling from your toes to your heel, filling the spaces in your foot?
